Dr. Dara Meldrum is an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin, and a leading expert in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation. With over 25 years of clinical, research, and academic experience, she works at the Balance Centre in Dublin and has published extensively—including more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and 5 book chapters—on topics such as neuro-rehabilitation, balance disorders, and the use of technology in rehabilitation.

Dr. Meldrum founded and serves as Chief Scientific Officer of Vertigenius™, a digital healthcare platform designed to enhance the delivery of vestibular rehabilitation using a clinician platform, wearable head sensor, and patient app. Her doctoral research focused on integrating technology into balance and dizziness rehab, and she is recognized internationally for her innovative approach to patient care. She has secured significant research funding and has received multiple awards, including the Trinity College Dublin Campus Company Founder Award, celebrating her groundbreaking work in digital rehabilitation.

Her background includes a PhD in vestibular rehabilitation, a Diploma in Clinical Trials from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and substantial experience consulting on clinical research in both academic and industry settings.
